Hagoromo
Author: Zeami Motokiyo. The plot revolves around a fisherman who finds a celestial robe (hagoromo) belonging to a tennin (heavenly being), who cannot return to heaven without it. They strike a bargain.
Funa Benkei
Author: Kan'ami Kiyotsugu. It depicts Yoshitsune and his retainer Benkei as they face a storm at sea, summoned by the ghosts of Taira warriors defeated by Yoshitsune. Benkei prays and subdues the vengeful spirits.
Kinuta

Author: Zeami Motokiyo. The play recounts the story of Atsumori, a young Taira warrior killed in the Genpei War. Years later, his killer, Rensei (formerly Kumagai Naozane), now a monk, prays for Atsumori's spirit.
Nōbi
Author: Unknown. The story explores the aftermath of a battle where a peasant woman and her daughter-in-law struggle to gather grass on the war-torn plains, encountering the spirit of a warrior.
The Robe of Feathers
Author: Unknown. A fisherman finds a beautiful robe made of feathers and refuses to return it to the celestial maiden who owns it until she performs a dance for him. It is a tale of promise and enlightenment.
