A technique involving the amplification of actions or expressions for comedic effect. Example scene: A character wildly overreacts to a tiny spider as if facing a monstrous threat.

Sound Gags
Comedy resulting from unexpected or exaggerated sounds that accompany actions. Example scene: A character tip-toeing dramatically but each step produces a loud horn sound.

A form of humor using visual images to create a play on words or an amusing interpretation. Example scene: A character says they feel 'pinned down by responsibilities' while a literal pin falls on them.
Mirror Routine
A performance where a character mimics the movements of another as if they are their reflection in a mirror. Example scene: Two characters pretending to be each other's reflection, leading to confusion and hilarity.
Funny Animal Antics
Humor derived from animals behaving in human-like or unexpected ways. Example scene: A dog riding a skateboard while wearing sunglasses, much to the amusement of onlookers.
