Mars
Best viewed when at opposition, occurring every 26 months. Prime viewing around July-September, shining bright with a reddish hue.
Venus
Prominently visible either in the western sky after sunset or eastern sky before sunrise, often referred to as the 'Evening Star' or 'Morning Star'. Best observed from December to February and May to July.
Jupiter
Best observed from Earth when at opposition. Peak viewing months are May-June and August-September. It is very bright and has visible moons even with binoculars.
Mercury
Best observed just before sunrise or just after sunset, typically in March-April and September-October. It stays close to the horizon.
Saturn
