Nut
The nut is a small strip at the beginning of the guitar neck which elevates the strings over the fretboard.
Tuning Pegs
Tuning pegs, also known as machine heads, are used to adjust the tension of the guitar strings to tune the instrument.
Pickups
Pickups are magnets that capture the vibrations of the strings and convert them into electrical signals.
Sound Hole
The sound hole allows the sound to resonate and project from a hollow or semi-hollow guitar body.
Truss Rod
The truss rod is a steel rod running inside the neck, used to adjust its curvature and ensure proper string action and playability.
Body
The body is the large wooden part of the guitar that enhances the sound created by the strings.
Output Jack
The output jack is where you plug in the guitar cable that connects the guitar to an amplifier or recording equipment.
Saddles
Saddles are part of the bridge that support the strings and can be adjusted to set the string height and intonation.
Frets
Frets are metal strips that divide the fretboard and allow the player to produce different pitches by pressing strings against them.
Fretboard
The fretboard is the surface of the neck where the frets are embedded, and it's where fingers are placed to change the pitch of the strings.
Headstock
The headstock anchors the guitar strings and houses the tuning machines.
Bridge
The bridge anchors the strings to the body and transmits their vibrations to the soundboard.
