Self-Efficacy
Self-Efficacy refers to an individual's belief in their capacity to execute behaviors necessary to produce specific performance attainments. It reflects confidence in the ability to exert control over one's own motivation, behavior, and social environment.
Internal Locus of Control
An Internal Locus of Control is the belief that one is responsible for their own success and failure. Individuals with a strong internal locus of control tend to believe that they control their life outcomes.
External Locus of Control
An External Locus of Control is the belief that external forces, such as fate, luck, or other people, have more control over one's life than their own actions do. Those with a strong external locus of control may feel hopeless or powerless when faced with difficult situations.
Collective Efficacy
Collective Efficacy is the group's shared belief in its conjoint capabilities to organize and execute the courses of action required to produce given levels of attainments. It is significant for groups in contexts such as workplaces or social movements.
