Cairn (Stack of Rocks)
A man-made pile of stones marking the trail. It guides hikers along less obvious paths, especially in rocky or open areas where traditional blazes are absent.
Equestrian Trail Marker
Signifies a trail designated for horseback riding. Be aware that you may encounter horses and give them the right of way.
Diamond-shaped Sign with Hiker Icon
Designates a trail primarily meant for hiking purposes. Follow the trail and be aware that it is for foot traffic only.
Brown Sign with a Tent Icon

White Circle with a Swimmer Icon
Points towards a swimming area along the trail. Follow the sign to reach a spot where swimming is permitted.
Sign with a Crossed-out Campfire
Indicates that no campfires are allowed in the area. Abide by this rule to prevent forest fires and minimize environmental damage.
Do Not Feed Wildlife Sign
A reminder that feeding wildlife is prohibited to protect both animals and hikers. Respect wildlife and keep your distance.
Red Dot on Post
Marks the start or the continuation of a difficult or challenging section of the trail. Proceed with caution and be prepared for tougher conditions.
Three Blazes in a Triangle
