Analytical Intelligence
Analytical Intelligence refers to the ability to analyze, evaluate, judge, compare, and contrast. When solving problems, individuals use their analytical intelligence to look at the components of the problems and come up with a solution. Everyday examples include solving a math problem, choosing between multiple options based on systematic comparison, or critically reviewing a written essay.
Creative Intelligence
Creative Intelligence is the ability to create, invent, discover, and deal with novel situations by applying past experiences and current skills. It is used when an individual is faced with a new task or situation, and past experiences are drawn upon to handle it. Everyday examples include coming up with a unique idea for a school project, improvising a solution to a sudden problem during a camping trip, or writing a short story.
Practical Intelligence
Practical Intelligence, often referred to as 'street smarts', is the ability to adapt to, shape, or select environments. It involves applying knowledge and experiences in everyday situations. Practical intelligence is evident when someone learns how to navigate the complexities of social relationships or when someone figures out how to fix or work around a malfunctioning device at home.
