Flashcards
0/4
Neptune
Neptune's rings are made of extremely dark material, including dust and organic compounds, possibly resulting from the capture of Triton. The rings are irregular and faint, with some brighter arcs.
Saturn
Saturn has the most extensive ring system, made mostly of ice particles with a smaller amount of rocky debris and dust. The rings are very wide but extremely thin.
Uranus
Uranus's rings are composed of extremely dark particles, which some believe to be ice covered in organic material. The rings are narrow and have a set of inner rings and outer rings.
Jupiter
Jupiter’s rings are much fainter than Saturn's and are made up of dust particles from some of Jupiter's moons and possibly captured cometary material.
