Galaxies that do not have a distinct regular shape, unlike spiral or elliptical galaxies, often rich in gas and dust, with young star formations.
Elliptical Galaxy
A type of galaxy that has an ellipsoidal shape and a smooth, nearly featureless brightness profile, which typically lack significant dust and gas.
