Flashcards

The French Drop
Hold a coin in your left hand. Reach over with your right hand and pretend to take the coin, actually letting it drop into your left palm secretly. Move your right hand away as if it holds the coin.
Coin Vanish
Display a coin in one hand. Close your hand and tap it with a pen. When you open it, the coin has 'disappeared' by being dropped or palmed without the audience noticing.
Coin Through Table
Tap a coin on a table and cover it with a hand. Hit the underside of the table with the other hand simultaneously as you let the coin fall into your lap, giving the illusion it passed through.
Classic Palm
Conceal a coin in your hand by squeezing it between the base of your thumb and the side of your palm. It appears as though your hand is empty while you actually hold the coin.
The Muscle Pass
Coin is secretly 'popped' into the air from a classic palm position using muscle tension without the other hand touching it, creating the illusion it defies gravity.
Coin Bite
Hold a coin between your teeth and pretend to bite off a piece, using a specially cut coin that can be folded and restored. Show the bitten coin and then 'restore' it by unfolding the cut piece.
Coin Matrix
Arrange four coins in a matrix on a table, cover each with a card. Magically move the coins without touching them directly by sleight of hand and lifting the cards to reveal the move.
The Coin Fold
Wrap a coin in paper and crush it, making the coin 'vanish'. A duplicate coin is switched and hidden prior to the crushing, while the wrapped real coin is palmed away.
Hopping Half
Show two coins, a half dollar and an English penny. Make one coin disappear and reappear several times. This trick uses two specially gimmicked coins that fit together.
Spellbound
Show a coin and visibly change it into another coin with a rub or a wave of the hand. Requires mastering several sleight of hand techniques to switch coins unnoticed.
Winged Silver
A coin magically travels from one hand to the other without the hands ever coming together. Use sleight of hand to palm and reproduce the coin at the right moment.
Scotch and Soda
Two coins (a Scotch and a soda) are shown. One coin is placed in your pocket, but then it magically reappears in your hand. Uses a special locking mechanism between the coins.
Coin Through Hand
Appear to push a coin through your hand, while in reality, you switch the coin and use a replica. Drop the hidden coin into sleeve or pocket as you show the other side of the hand.
Tenkai Pennies
Two coins are shown and one is placed in each hand. Yet, when the hands are opened, both coins are in one hand. It involves a deceptive technique called the Tenkai pinch.
Miser's Dream
Magician pulls coins out of thin air and drops them into a bucket. Requires palming multiple coins and the ability to produce them in a seemingly continuous stream.
