Bridge
The location from which the ship is commanded; includes the navigation center.
Deck Plan
A map or blueprint of the various public spaces and cabins aboard the cruise ship.
Midship
The central part of a ship, equidistant from the bow and stern.
Stabilizers
Fins or small wings along the hull that help minimize the ship's rolling motion at sea.
Gangway
