Aú

From the Ginga, step laterally and lower your body by bending the knees, moving your head out of the line of attack while keeping your eyes on the opponent.

Ginga
Start in a parallel stance, then step one foot back and swing arms in the opposite direction of your back foot. Alternate sides to maintain dynamic movement.
Rasteira
From Ginga, step closer to your opponent, sweep their front or back foot with your own foot, targeting their ankle to unbalance them.
Cocorinha
Crouch low to the ground, tuck your head, and cover it with your forearms and hands to protect against high kicks or descending strikes.
Queixada
From the Ginga position, pivot on your front foot bringing your back leg across the body in a crescent motion towards your opponent's face.
Meia Lua de Compasso
Start in the Ginga stance, sweep your back leg forward in a wide circular motion while dropping your body down and placing one hand on the floor for stability.

Get in close proximity to your opponent, wrap your legs around one of theirs and twist your body to take them down.

Lie on your back and push off with your feet and hands to lift your body into an arched bridge position, hips up, and head looking backward.

Execute a fast and straight side kick directed towards the opponent’s torso or thigh, pushing with the flat of the foot.
Meia Lua de Compasso Rodado
Perform a Meia Lua de Compasso with an added spinning motion, placing the hands on the ground and rotating the body 360 degrees before the kick.
