Bodycon
A close-fitting silhouette that hugs the body and shows off the figure. Made from stretchy material.
Mermaid
Fits closely to the body from the chest to the knee, then flares out to the hem.
Bouffant
A puffy silhouette created by gathering fabric at the waist to create volume in the skirt.
Trumpet
A silhouette that is fitted through the body and flares at mid-thigh, similar to a mermaid style but with a softer flare.
Peplum

Fit and Flare
Fitted through the bodice and flaring out at the waist, this silhouette is often described as a less dramatic version of the A-line silhouette.
