Reverse Cascade
Like the Cascade but the throws go under the opposite arm, creating a reverse effect.
Windmill
A continuous pattern where the juggler makes circular movements with each throw and catch, resembling the arms of a windmill.
531
A siteswap pattern with differing heights of throws; the '5' is high, '3' is medium, and '1' is a quick pass.
Factory
A pattern where the juggler mimics a factory machine, throwing a ball from the middle of the pattern upwards while passing another beneath it.
Plenty
A pattern combining elements of Burke's Barrage and Rubenstein's Revenge, with balls thrown over the top and arm circles.
Shower
Balls are thrown in a circular motion with one hand doing high throws and the other hand passing balls back.
Orka's Mess
A pattern that can be seen as a variation of Mills Mess with an additional ball making a straight vertical throw.
Mills Mess
A complex 3-ball pattern where the juggler's arms cross and uncross while throwing the balls in a swooping motion.
Columns
Jugglers keep each ball in its own column with upward throws, without the balls crossing paths.
Chops
A 3-ball pattern where balls are thrown under the arm in a chopping motion.
Half-Shower
A variation of the Shower pattern, where balls are thrown over the top in one direction only, and the lower passes are done in the opposite direction.
Takeouts
A pattern where the juggler 'takes out' a ball from the pattern and makes a circular motion before placing it back in.
Cascade
The basic 3-ball juggling pattern where balls are thrown in an arch from one hand to the other.
Rubenstein's Revenge
An advanced 3-ball pattern resembling Mills Mess with extra circles made by the arms.
Romeo's Revenge
An advanced pattern that incorporates elements of Mills Mess and Rubenstein's Revenge with additional twists and turns.
Georgian Shuffle
A 3-ball pattern that adds claw catches and carries to the basic Cascade pattern.
Box
A pattern that resembles a square or box shape. Jugglers throw balls in a vertical line and then pass horizontally.
Burke's Barrage
Involves throwing two balls over the top in a high arc, while a third ball is passed in a circle beneath them.
Boston Mess
A variation of Mills Mess, usually with 3 balls, where the balls are thrown in columns instead of a swooping pattern.
Flash
A pattern where all objects are thrown and caught once in quick succession, often used in numbers juggling.
