Pas de deux
A dance duet in which two dancers, typically a male and a female, perform ballet steps together.
Lift
A move where one dancer, typically the male, lifts his partner off the ground.
Promenade
A move where one dancer, typically the male, slowly turns his partner in place, usually on pointe or demi-pointe.
Fish Dive
A lift where the male dancer supports the female by the waist or thighs while she arches backwards with legs together, resembling a diving fish.
Arabesque Lift
A lift where the female dancer is held in an arabesque position while the male dancer supports her by the waist or hips.
Fouetté Turn

Adagio
