The RGB color model is based on additive mixing of the primary colors Red, Green, and Blue. Commonly used in digital imaging devices and displays.
CMYK
CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key (Black). It's a subtractive color model primarily used in color printing.
HSV
HSV stands for Hue, Saturation, and Value. It represents colors in terms of their shade, intensity, and brightness, and is used for color selection and manipulation in graphics software.
HSB
HSB stands for Hue, Saturation, and Brightness. Similar to HSV, it's used in graphics applications to allow users to produce colors in a more intuitive way.
YUV
YUV is a color model that separates luma (brightness) from chroma (color) information. It's widely used in video compression and broadcasting.
YCbCr
YCbCr is a digital color model used in video systems. Y represents luminance, while Cb and Cr represent blue-difference and red-difference chroma components.
CIE XYZ
CIE XYZ is a color model created by the International Commission on Illumination. It's a linear transformation of RGB designed to be device independent.
CIE Lab
CIE Lab is designed to be perceptually uniform with respect to human vision. L* represents lightness, while a* and b* represent color dimensions.
sRGB
sRGB is a standard RGB color space established by HP and Microsoft. It's designed to match typical home and office viewing conditions.
Adobe RGB
