Player asks for a card they do not have.
Asking for a card you don't have is against the rules; you must hold at least one card of the rank you ask for.
Player runs out of cards.
If a player runs out of cards, they must draw from the stockpile until they get a card they can ask for.
Requesting a card from an opponent
When you ask an opponent for a card, if they have it, they must give all cards of that rank to you.
Making a 'book'
A 'book' is made when a player collects four cards of the same rank.
How play proceeds after a successful request
After successfully getting cards from the opponent, the player gets to take another turn.
Drawing a card from the stockpile
If asked for a card they don’t have, the opponent will say 'Go Fish', prompting the player to draw from the stockpile.
End of the game
The game ends when all books have been made, and the player with the most books wins.
Starting the game
Each player starts with 5 cards. The remaining cards form the stockpile.
