Tightrope
A tightly stretched rope or wire on which acrobats perform high above the ground, usually using a balancing pole.
Juggling
The act of continuously tossing objects into the air and catching them in a rhythmic pattern.
Clown
A performer characterized by colorful costumes, exaggerated makeup, and comedic acts designed to entertain and amuse.
Ringmaster
The host or narrator of a circus performance, traditionally dressed in an elaborate coat and top hat.
Trapeze
A horizontal bar hung by ropes or metal straps from a support, used by acrobats for aerial acts.
Aerial Silk
A type of performance in which one or more acrobats perform aerial acrobatics while hanging from a special fabric.
Tumbler
An acrobat who performs gymnastic feats such as flips, rolls, jumps, and somersaults.
Human Cannonball
An act where a person is launched from a specially designed cannon and typically lands on a net or airbag.
Contortionist
A performer who demonstrates extreme flexibility and can bend their body into unusual positions.
Stilt Walker
Performers who walk on stilts, which are poles equipped with steps for the feet to enable the wearer to stand at a height above the ground.
Fire Breather
A performer who creates flames by breathing a mist of fuel over an open flame.
Balancing Act
A performance that requires the artist to maintain equilibrium while on an unstable surface or object.
Cyr Wheel
A large ring that the performer stands inside of and spins, creating an illusion of floating and flying.
Globe of Death
A spherical cage in which motorcyclists perform stunts while riding along its inner walls, often crisscrossing paths at high speed.
Lion Tamer
An act where the performer exhibits control over one or more large cats, such as lions or tigers.
