Infancy
Age range: 0-2 years. Physiological characteristics: Rapid growth, development of motor skills, beginning of linguistic skills.
Toddlerhood
Age range: 2-3 years. Physiological characteristics: Increased motor skills, starting to assert independence, language development.
Childhood
Age range: 3-12 years. Physiological characteristics: Steady growth, refinement of motor skills and cognitive abilities, developing social skills.
Adolescence

Old Age
