Right Mindfulness is the mindful awareness of the body, feelings, thoughts, and phenomena, encouraging a keen attention and awareness of the present moment without judgement or attachment.
Right Intention

Right Livelihood
This encourages adherents to earn a living in a way that does not cause harm and is ethically positive, avoiding trades that directly or indirectly harm others, like dealing in weapons or intoxicants.
Right Speech
This aspect of the path calls for abstaining from false, harmful, or divisive speech and engaging in truthful, harmonious, and uplifting communication.
Right Effort
This principle involves cultivating a positive state of mind by preventing and overcoming unwholesome thoughts and emotions, and pursuing and maintaining wholesome states.
Right Understanding
This principle involves the correct grasp of the true nature of reality, particularly the understanding of the Four Noble Truths and the nature of impermanence, suffering, and non-self.
