Harun
Harun, or Aaron, was the supportive brother and prophet alongside Musa. He assisted Musa with the Israelites and served as a communicator due to Musa's speech impediment.
Yusuf
Yusuf, or Joseph, is known for his unwavering faith through trials including betrayal by his brothers and wrongful imprisonment, later becoming a powerful figure in Egypt and reconciling with his family.
Sulaiman
Sulaiman, or Solomon, is celebrated for his wisdom, his understanding of the language of animals, and his kingdom, which included an army of Jinn and birds.
Nuh
Known in English as Noah, Nuh is recognized for building the Ark to save his followers from the great flood. His story emphasizes the theme of divine punishment and salvation.
Lut
Lut, or Lot in English, is remembered for his mission to the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, preaching against their immoral acts. His story ends with the destruction of these cities due to their inhabitants' wickedness.
Hud
Prophet Hud is sent to the people of ‘Ad, his own tribe, to guide them back to the worship of Allah and away from idolatry. His people were ultimately destroyed by a mighty storm due to their refusal to heed his warnings.
Dhulkifl
Prophet Dhulkifl, also recognized as Ezekiel, is acknowledged for his commitment to the prophetic mission and is mentioned twice in the Quran as a patient and righteous servant of God.
Adam
Considered the first prophet and human in Islam, Adam is revered for his role in being placed in Paradise, his subsequent fall to Earth, and his repentance and forgiveness by God.
Dawud
Dawud, known as David, is noted for defeating Goliath, receiving the Psalms, and ruling as a king with wisdom and justice.
Saleh
Prophet Saleh was sent to the Thamud people. He is best known for the miracle of the she-camel as a sign for his people, who eventually killed the camel, leading to their doom.
Ismail
Ismail, known as Ishmael to others, almost sacrificed by his father Ibrahim as a test of faith, is also honored for his role in the establishment of the rites of the Hajj pilgrimage.
Muhammad
The final prophet in Islam, Muhammad received the Quran over 23 years, unified the Arabian Peninsula under monotheism, and established a model for living based on the Quran and his own teachings (Sunnah).

Yahya, or John the Baptist, is known for his ascetic lifestyle, his call to repentance, and his role in preparing the way for the coming of Isa (Jesus).

Alyasa, recognized as Elisha in English, is known for succeeding Ilyas and for his mission involving the continuation of the monotheistic teachings amongst his people.

Isa, known as Jesus, is recognized in Islam as a prophet and the messiah, born to Maryam (Mary) miraculously. Isa performed many miracles by the will of God and is prophesied to return before the Day of Judgment.
Ilyas
Ilyas, also known as Elijah, was a prophet sent to the people of Ba'albek to guide them away from Baal worship back to Islam. He is revered for his consistent commitment to monotheism.
Yaqub
Also known as Jacob, Yaqub is celebrated for his strong faith despite many hardships and for continuing the prophetic tradition within his family, being the father of many other prophets.
Shu'ayb
Prophet Shu'ayb preached to the people of Madyan against dishonesty in trade and polytheism. He is recognized for his eloquence and referred to as the preacher of the prophets.
Yunus
Yunus, known as Jonah, is famous for his story of being swallowed by a big fish, repenting to God, and being vomited out to continue his prophetic mission among his people who eventually listened to him.
Musa
Musa, or Moses, is a central figure, known for leading the Israelites out of Egypt, his encounter with Pharaoh, and receiving the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai.
Ishaq
Known as Isaac in other Abrahamic faiths, Ishaq is often mentioned in relation to his father Ibrahim and brother Ismail. He is celebrated for his prophecy and for continuing the message of monotheism.
Ayyub
Known as Job in English, Ayyub is an exemplar of patience in the face of severe illness and loss, remaining steadfast in faith and eventually being restored to health and prosperity by God.
Zakariya
Zakariya, known as Zechariah, is celebrated for his care of Maryam (Mary) and his prayer for a son despite old age, which was answered with the birth of Yahya (John the Baptist).
Idris
Prophet Idris is acknowledged for his wisdom and may have been the first to write with a pen. Islamic tradition considers him a man of truth and a prophet.
Ibrahim
Known as Abraham in Judaism and Christianity, Ibrahim is a key figure and is often referred to as Khalilullah (the friend of Allah). He rebuilt the Kaaba with his son Ismail and rejected idol worship.
