The Scream Theft (1994)
Edvard Munch's 'The Scream' was stolen from the National Gallery in Oslo, but was recovered later that year.
The Scream and Madonna Theft (2004)
Another version of Edvard Munch's 'The Scream' and 'Madonna' were stolen from the Munch Museum in Oslo. Both paintings were recovered in 2006.
Mona Lisa Theft (1911)
The 'Mona Lisa' by Leonardo da Vinci was stolen by Vincenzo Peruggia. It was recovered in 1913 when he tried to sell it.
The Henry Moore Foundation Theft (2005)
