Zodiacal Light
Zodiacal Light is a faint, diffuse, and roughly triangular white glow visible in the night sky, emanating from the direction of the Sun along the ecliptic. It is caused by sunlight scattered by space dust in the zodiacal cloud and is best observed after sunset or before sunrise.
Aurora Borealis
Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, is a natural light display in the Earth's sky predominantly seen in high-latitude regions. It results from the collision between energetic charged particles from the sun and gas molecules in the Earth's atmosphere, typically at altitudes above 80 kilometers.
Aurora Australis
Aurora Australis is the counterpart to the Aurora Borealis, visible in the Southern Hemisphere's high latitudes. It arises from similar interactions as the Northern Lights, with solar particles colliding with gases like oxygen and nitrogen, but it is seen around the South Pole area.
Noctilucent Clouds
Noctilucent Clouds are the highest clouds in Earth's atmosphere, located in the mesosphere at altitudes of around 76 to 85 kilometers. They are visible during twilight and are formed when water vapor condenses around dust particles left by meteoroids.
Solar Eclipse
A Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, thereby totally or partially obscuring the Sun's image for a viewer on Earth. This can only occur during a new moon, when the Sun and the Moon are in conjunction as seen from Earth.
