Grainline Arrow
This indicates the direction the pattern should be placed on the fabric, aligning with the fabric’s grain.
Cut on Fold
This symbol shows where the pattern piece should be placed against the fabric's fold, creating a symmetrical piece.
Notches
Small marks on the edge of the pattern that indicates where pieces should match up when sewn together.
