Isometric Perspective
A method of visual representation in which all dimensions parallel to the three principal spatial axes are shown in their true proportions. Used for technical drawings, it involves parallel lines remaining parallel instead of converging.
One-Point Perspective
A drawing method that shows how things appear to get smaller as they get further away, converging towards a single vanishing point on the horizon line. It is used to create the illusion of depth and distance in a 2D artwork.
Two-Point Perspective
A linear perspective in which parallel lines along the width and depth of an object are represented as meeting at two separate points on the horizon line. It is used to render objects or scenes that are oriented at an angle to the viewer.
Three-Point Perspective
A perspective in which the composition includes two vanishing points on the horizon line and one not on the horizon line, which is either above or below depending on whether the view is from above or below the subject. It's used to depict large-scale scenes and dramatic views in visual art.
Atmospheric Perspective
A technique of rendering depth or distance by modifying the color and clarity of objects intended to be perceived as distant from the viewer. Colors of distant objects are lighter, and less detailed, simulating the effect of the atmosphere on the human eye.
