Site-Specific Art

A form of installation where the audience is expected to interact with the work, which alters or completes the piece.
Immersive Installation
Art installations designed to create an all-encompassing sensory experience, often filling an entire room or space.
Conceptual Art
Art in which the idea presented is considered more important than the finished product, if there is one.
Modular Art
Art installations that consist of multiple units or pieces that can be reconfigured or assembled in various ways.
Land Art
Art made directly in the landscape, sculpting the land itself into earthworks or making structures in the landscape with natural materials.
Ephemeral Art
Art that is temporary, often designed to last only for the duration of the exhibition, and is not intended to last indefinitely.
Light and Space
A movement focused on perceptual phenomena, such as light, volume and scale, and the viewer's experience of them.
