Virality
The tendency of an image, video, or piece of information to be circulated rapidly and widely from one Internet user to another; often results in the content becoming a cultural phenomenon.
Influencer Marketing
A form of marketing in which focus is placed on influential people rather than the target market as a whole. It identifies the individuals that have influence over potential buyers and orients marketing activities around these influencers.
Affiliate Marketing
A marketing arrangement by which an online retailer pays commission to an external website for traffic or sales generated from its referrals.
Analytics
The systematic computational analysis of data or statistics used to track and measure performance, user behavior, or other relevant patterns on websites and digital marketing campaigns.
Bounce Rate
The percentage of visitors to a particular website who navigate away from the site after viewing only one page. A high bounce rate might indicate that the site content is not relevant or engaging to visitors.
Brand Awareness
The extent to which consumers are familiar with the distinctive qualities or image of a particular brand of goods or services.
SEO

Remarketing
A type of online advertising that enables sites to show targeted ads to users who have already visited their site. Past visitors will see these ads while they are browsing the web, watching YouTube videos, or reading news sites.
Social Proof
A psychological phenomenon where people assume the actions of others reflect the correct behavior for a given situation, e.g., online reviews, testimonials, or social media endorsements.
Call to Action (CTA)
A prompt on a website that tells the user to take some specified action, such as 'Sign Up', 'Buy Now', or 'Learn More'.
Lead Generation
The initiation of consumer interest or inquiry into products or services of a business. Leads can be created for purposes such as list building, e-newsletter list acquisition, or for sales leads.
Native Advertising
An online advertising method in which the advertiser attempts to gain attention by providing content in the context of the user's experience; resembles the platform's editorial content but is paid for by an advertiser.
Customer Journey Mapping
A visual representation of the process a customer goes through to achieve a goal with a company. It helps companies step into their customer's shoes and see their business from the customer's perspective.
User Experience (UX)
The overall experience users have when interacting with a product or service, especially in terms of how easy or pleasing it is to use.
Conversion Rate
The percentage of users who take a desired action; in digital marketing, this often refers to the number of website visitors who buy something on the site.
Growth Hacking
A process of rapid experimentation across marketing channels and product development to identify the most effective, efficient ways to grow a business.
