Leukemia
Symptoms: Fatigue, fever, frequent infections, and bleeding easily. Treatment: Chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, stem cell transplant.
Hemophilia
Symptoms: Excessive bleeding, large bruises, joint pain and swelling. Treatment: Clotting factor replacements, desmopressin, and sometimes gene therapy.
