Thermal Resistor
A Thermal Resistor is analogous to an electrical resistor. It represents the resistance to heat flow, much like an electrical resistor impedes current. In thermal analysis, it's used to model the opposition to heat transfer through materials or across interfaces such as insulation.
Thermal Capacitor
A Thermal Capacitor models the ability of a material to store heat, analogous to an electrical capacitor which stores charge. In thermal analysis, it helps in understanding how different materials absorb and release heat over time, affecting temperature changes within the system.
Thermal Inductor
Though not as common as the thermal resistor or capacitor, a Thermal Inductor is the thermal analogy for an electrical inductor. It represents the 'thermal inertia' of mass flow systems, indicating the resistance to changes in heat flow rate due to the system's mass and velocity.
