Push
A defensive stroke that is generally used to counteract spin, usually performed with a backspin to keep the ball low over the net.
Forehand Loop
A stroke that creates significant topspin by brushing the ball upwards, usually used to attack backspin balls.
Serve (Service)
The initial stroke that starts each point, which can be varied in spin, speed, and placement to gain an advantage.
Backhand Loop
A topspin attacking shot performed with the backhand, often used when countering backspin or as an aggressive play.

Forehand Drive
A basic attacking stroke with a slight topspin, usually played from the forehand side aiming at deep areas of the opponent's court.
Chop
A defensive shot with heavy backspin, typically used when the ball is moving away from the player, to add difficulty to the opponent's return.
