Sprained Ankle
Rest the ankle, apply ice, compress with an elastic bandage, and elevate the limb.
Hypothermia
Move the person to a warm shelter, remove wet clothing, warm the center of the body first, and give warm beverages if conscious.
Blisters
Clean the blister, apply a sterile dressing, and avoid bursting the blister.
Dehydration
Stop activity, move to a cool place, and slowly drink water or a sports drink.
Heat Exhaustion
Rest in a cool place, drink cool fluids, and use cool compresses on the skin.
Sunburn
Get out of the sun, apply cool compresses, and use aloe vera or moisturizing lotions.
Cuts and Scrapes
Rinse with clean water, apply gentle pressure with a sterile bandage to stop bleeding, and cover with a clean dressing.
Snakebite
Keep the bitten limb still and at heart level, clean the wound but do not flush with water, and seek immediate medical attention.
Fractures
Immobilize the injured area, avoid straightening the limb or changing its position, and seek medical help.
Insect Bites and Stings
Remove the stinger if applicable, wash the area, apply ice, and take an antihistamine for severe itching or swelling.
