Elliptical Trainer
A low-impact exercise machine. Stand on the pedals, grip the handles, and mimic a running motion. You can adjust resistance and use incline features to increase intensity.
Running
A basic form of aerobic exercise that requires you to move your legs at a pace faster than walking. To perform this exercise, keep your back straight, swing your arms at your sides and land on your feet in a heel-to-toe motion.
Jump Rope
An exercise that involves jumping over a rope swung so that it passes under the feet and over the head. Maintain a slight bend in your knees, and jump lightly on the balls of your feet.
Skating
A cardiovascular exercise on ice or roller skates. Maintain a low center of gravity, push off with one foot and glide with the other. Use protective gear to prevent injury.
HIIT
High-Intensity Interval Training involves short bursts of intense exercise followed by a short period of rest or lower-intensity exercise. Activities vary but can include sprinting, push-ups, or burpees.
Swimming
A full-body exercise that involves moving through water. Use different swimming strokes like freestyle, breaststroke, or backstroke to move and keep your breathing synchronized.
Rowing
An exercise that can be done on a rowing machine. Push with your legs, hinge forward at the hips, then pull the handles to your chest, and repeat. Keep your back straight.
Kickboxing
A combination of boxing and martial arts techniques that provides a total-body workout. Perform punches and kicks with focus on form and power. Keep your guard up and core engaged.
Dancing
A fun and expressive way to get your heart rate up. Choose any form of dance—hip hop, ballroom, contemporary—and move your body to the rhythm of the music.
Power Walking
A form of walking performed at a steady and brisk pace that incorporates the upper body. Swing your arms, maintain a quick pace, and keep your back straight while walking.
Cycling
An aerobic exercise where you use a bicycle. Place your feet on the pedals and rotate them in a circular motion. You can adjust the resistance to increase intensity.
Cross-Country Skiing
A form of skiing where you use poles and skis to move across snow-covered terrain. Alternate arm and leg movements in a gliding motion and synchronize your poles with the opposite leg.
Boxing
A high-intensity workout involving various punching techniques. Practice punching a bag or shadow boxing with proper form: hands up, elbows in, rotate from your hips.
Zumba
An aerobic fitness program featuring dance moves inspired by various styles of Latin American dance, performed to music. Follow the instructor and stay in rhythm with the music.
Stair Climbing
This exercise involves repeatedly walking or running up stairs. It targets the leg muscles and increases heart rate. Maintain a steady pace and use the handrail if necessary for balance.
