Backstroke
Lie on your back and alternate overhand arm strokes while flutter kicking your legs.

Keep your head above the water and paddle your arms under the water in a simple, dog-like fashion, with a simple flutter or frog kick.
Elementary Backstroke
Float on your back, move your arms out to the side and then down toward your hips while performing a frog kick.
Breaststroke
Start in a prone position, perform a frog kick while moving your arms in a circular, symmetrical motion keeping the hands in front of the chest.
Sidestroke
Lie on one side and alternate moving your arms in a scissor-like motion while performing a scissor kick with your legs.
