Espresso
Concentrated coffee brewed by forcing hot water under pressure through finely-ground coffee beans.
Cappuccino
Espresso-based coffee drink with equal parts espresso, steamed milk, and milk foam.
Americano
Espresso with added hot water, typically in a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2, diluting the strength but preserving the flavor.
Latte
Espresso mixed with steamed milk and a small amount of milk foam, typically in a ratio of 1:3 to 1:5.
Macchiato
Espresso marked with a small amount of steamed milk and usually a dollop of milk foam.
