Fire Fighting System
Purpose: To combat potential fires on board. Components: Fire pumps, Sea water intakes, Fire mains, Nozzles, and Fire extinguishing agents.
Hydraulic System
Purpose: To transmit power for mechanical operations. Components: Hydraulic pumps, Accumulators, Fluid reservoir, Hydraulic pipelines, and Control valves.
Scupper System
Purpose: To drain water from decks and ship sides. Components: Scuppers, Drain pipes, Collection tank, and Overboard discharge valves.
Lubricating Oil System
Purpose: To supply lubrication to engine parts. Components: Lube oil pumps, Sump tank, Lube oil cooler, Filters, and Piping network.
Fuel Oil Transfer System
Purpose: To transfer fuel oil to and from storage tanks. Components: Fuel oil pumps, Transfer pipes, Valves, Filters, and Heaters.
Steam System
Purpose: To provide steam for various applications. Components: Boilers, Steam pipes, Condensate return lines, Valves, and Traps.
Ballast System
Purpose: To control ship's stability and draft. Components: Ballast pumps, Ballast tanks, Sea chest, Ballast lines, and Overboard discharge valves.
Air Compressor System
Purpose: To supply compressed air for machinery operation and starting engines. Components: Air compressors, Air receivers, Piping, Filters, and Dryers.
Exhaust Gas System
Purpose: To expel exhaust gases from the engine. Components: Exhaust manifolds, Uptake pipes, Silencers, and Overboard discharge.
Cooling Water System
Purpose: To remove excess heat from the engine. Components: Seawater pumps, Freshwater pumps, Heat exchangers, Cooling lines, and Expansion tank.
Bilge System
Purpose: To remove any water that may enter the bilge wells. Components: Bilge pumps, Bilge wells, Bilge main, and Discharge connection.
Sanitary System
Purpose: To manage waste water from toilets and showers. Components: Sanitary tanks, Pumps, Piping network, Sewage treatment plant, and Discharge connections.
Inert Gas System
Purpose: To reduce the risk of explosion in cargo tanks by displacing oxygen. Components: Inert gas generator, Blower, Scrubber, Pipelines, and Non-return devices.
Fresh Water System
Purpose: To provide potable water for the crew. Components: Fresh water generator, Storage tanks, Pumps, Distribution network, and UV sterilizers.
Cargo Transfer System
Purpose: To load and offload cargo such as oil, chemicals, and other materials. Components: Cargo pumps, Valves, Cargo manifolds, Piping network, and Gauging devices.
