Major Depressive Disorder

Diagnosed by a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with functioning. Interventions may include behavioral interventions, educational support, and family counseling.
Schizophrenia
Criteria include delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech, and other symptoms persisting for at least six months. Social work interventions often involve case management, psychoeducation, and support for medication and therapy access.
Dissociative Identity Disorder
Characterized by the presence of two or more distinct personality states. Interventions focus on safety and stabilization, integration of the identity fragments, and trauma therapy.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Diagnosed by presence of obsessions and/or compulsions that are time-consuming or cause significant distress. Interventions include Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), cognitive behavioral therapy, and family education.
Antisocial Personality Disorder
Diagnosed by a pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others. Social work interventions may include cognitive behavioral approaches, anger management, and promoting pro-social behaviors.
