Nuki Waza
Counterstrike technique where you evade the opponent's strike by moving your body or weapon and immediately counterattacking.
Hiki Do
A counterstrike to the do, performed while retreating from the opponent's attack range.
Kote Strike
A strike to the wrist. Execute when the opponent's kote is exposed or they are attempting a strike.
Men Nuki Men
A technique where you evade opponent's men strike and counter with your own men strike.
Debana Kote
A preemptive strike to the wrist, striking the kote at the beginning of an opponent's attack.
Men Tsubazeriai
A technique where you enter into tsubazeriai from an attempted men strike, which can be followed up with close-range techniques.
Suriage Men
A counter technique where you slide the opponent's shinai up with your own to deflect and counterattack to men.
Hiki Men
A strike to the men while moving backward, often used when the opponent pressures forward.
Surikomi Men
