Accommodation
A type of social interaction that involves individuals or groups adjusting their relationships to each other to achieve a balance, like roommates creating a chore schedule to prevent conflict.
Conformity
A type of social interaction that occurs when individuals adjust their behaviours or attitudes to align with a group norm, such as dressing in a certain way to fit in with a particular crowd.
Exchange
A social interaction based on a reciprocal giving and receiving among individuals. For example, two friends helping each other with homework.
Competition
A type of social interaction where individuals or groups vie for control over resources and rewards, such as in a sports match or during a promotional process at work.
Conflict
An interaction characterized by a deliberate attempt to oppose, resist, or coerce the will of another person or group, such as in a debate or war.
Cooperation

Coercion
A social interaction where individuals or groups compel others to act in certain ways through threats or force, such as a government enacting laws under threat of penalty.
Assimilation
A process where individuals or minority groups lose their original cultural traits and blend into the wider society, exemplified by immigrants adopting the language and customs of their new country.
