Flashcards
0/3
Dendritic Cells
Function as messengers between the innate and the adaptive immune systems. They capture antigens and then present them on their surface to T cells.
Macrophages
Ingest and digest pathogens and then present the antigens on their surface to T cells. They also produce cytokines that are important for the immune response.
B Cells
Present antigens to helper T cells and are responsible for antibody production after their transformation into plasma cells.
