Mycoplasma Genitalium
Causes: Mycoplasma genitalium bacteria. Symptoms: Urethritis in men, cervicitis and pelvic inflammatory disease in women. Treatment options: Antibiotics (e.g., moxifloxacin, doxycycline).
Chlamydia
Causes: Chlamydia trachomatis bacteria. Symptoms: Pain during intercourse, burning sensation during urination, discharge. Treatment options: Antibiotics (e.g., azithromycin, doxycycline).
Granuloma Inguinale (Donovanosis)
Causes: Klebsiella granulomatis bacteria. Symptoms: Painless ulcers on the genital area, bleeding during intercourse. Treatment options: Antibiotics (e.g., doxycycline, azithromycin).
Syphilis
Causes: Treponema pallidum bacteria. Symptoms: Small sores, skin rashes, swollen lymph nodes. Treatment options: Penicillin G, a form of antibiotics.
