Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in American men, except for skin cancers. The American Cancer Society's estimates for prostate cancer in the United States for 2021 are about 248,530 new cases and 34,130 deaths from prostate cancer.
Breast Cancer
About 1 in 8 U.S. women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. In 2021, an estimated 281,550 new cases of invasive breast cancer were expected to be diagnosed in the U.S., along with 49,290 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer.
Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Endometrial Cancer

Ovarian Cancer
For 2021, the American Cancer Society estimated that there would be about 21,410 new cases of ovarian cancer and 13,770 deaths from this cancer in the U.S. The risk of ovarian cancer increases with age and is most common in women ages 50 to 60.
Gallbladder Cancer
Gallbladder cancer is relatively uncommon in the United States, with an estimated 12,480 new cases in 2021 and about 4,130 deaths. It is more common in women and Native Americans.
Cervical Cancer
There were about 14,480 new cases of cervical cancer diagnosed and 4,290 deaths from the disease in the United States during 2021. Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a major cause of cervical cancer.
Thyroid Cancer
The American Cancer Society's estimates for thyroid cancer in the United States for 2021 are about 44,280 new cases (12,150 in men and 32,130 in women). Deaths from thyroid cancer are relatively rare, about 2,200 in 2021.
Liver Cancer

Brain Cancer

Testicular Cancer

Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the second most common form of skin cancer. More than 1 million cases of SCC are diagnosed each year in the U.S., and deaths from SCC are also significant though not high in relation to incidence.
Hodgkin Lymphoma
For 2021, about 8,830 new cases of Hodgkin lymphoma were expected to be diagnosed in the U.S. and approximately 960 deaths. The disease is most common among people aged 20-34 and those over 55.
Mesothelioma
Mesothelioma is a rare cancer associated with asbestos exposure. For 2021, the American Cancer Society estimated about 3,000 new cases of mesothelioma in the U.S. and about 2,500 deaths. The incidence rate has been declining slowly.
Soft Tissue Sarcoma
In 2021, an estimated 13,130 new cases of soft tissue sarcomas were diagnosed in the United States, with about 5,350 deaths from this cancer. Sarcomas are rare tumors that can grow in connective tissue, including fat, muscle, nerves, and blood vessels.
Multiple Myeloma
The American Cancer Society's estimates for multiple myeloma in the United States for 2021 are about 34,920 new cases and 12,410 deaths. This type of cancer affects plasma cells in the bone marrow and is slightly more common in men.
Uterine Sarcoma
Uterine sarcoma is a rare type of uterine cancer that forms in the muscle and supporting tissues of the uterus. In the United States for 2021, about 2,320 new cases of uterine sarcoma were expected to be diagnosed.
Thymoma and Thymic Carcinoma
Thymoma and thymic carcinoma are rare thymus cancers, with thymoma being the more common of the two. In the U.S, the estimated number of new cases is not precisely known due to its rareness, but it is believed to be fewer than 1 per 100,000 people annually.
Childhood Leukemia
