Meniere's Disease
Cause: Fluid build-up in the inner ear. Symptoms: Vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, ear fullness. Treatments: Diuretics, low-sodium diet, vestibular rehabilitation, possibly surgery.
Cervicogenic Dizziness
Cause: Neck problems affecting proprioception and balance. Symptoms: Dizziness associated with neck movement or position. Treatments: Physical therapy, cervical spine treatments, proprioceptive exercises.
Stroke
Cause: Disruption of blood flow to the brain. Symptoms: Acute dizziness, balance issues, possible unilateral weakness or numbness. Treatments: Emergency medical treatment, stroke rehabilitation, secondary prevention.

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)
Cause: Dislodged otoliths in semicircular canals. Symptoms: Dizziness, nausea, balance problems when changing head position. Treatments: Epley maneuver, Semont maneuver, exercises to displace particles.
Multiple Sclerosis

Presbyvestibulopathy
Cause: Age-related degeneration of vestibular system. Symptoms: Balance problems, dizziness, falls. Treatments: Balance training, physical therapy, safety modifications at home.
Vestibular Neuritis
Cause: Viral infection affecting the vestibular nerve. Symptoms: Vertigo, dizziness, balance difficulties. Treatments: Corticosteroids, antiviral drugs, vestibular rehabilitation exercises.
Bilateral Vestibulopathy

Labyrinthitis

Acoustic Neuroma
Cause: Benign tumor on the vestibulocochlear nerve. Symptoms: Hearing loss, tinnitus, balance problems, dizziness. Treatments: Monitoring, radiation therapy, surgical removal.
Superior Canal Dehiscence Syndrome (SCDS)
Cause: Abnormal opening in the bone overlying the superior canal. Symptoms: Sound or pressure-induced vertigo, oscillopsia, autophony. Treatments: Surgery to repair the dehiscence, avoidance of activities that increase intracranial pressure, hearing aids.
