Cerumen
The medical term for earwax, which is produced in the ear canal.
Adenoidectomy
The surgical removal of the adenoids, often to treat chronic infections or respiratory issues.
Sinusitis
Inflammation or infection of the paranasal sinuses.
Rhinorrhea
A condition where the nasal cavity is filled with a significant amount of mucus fluid, commonly known as a runny nose.
Tonsillectomy
The surgical removal of the tonsils, often to treat recurrent strep throat or tonsillitis.
Otorrhea
Discharge from the ear, which can be a sign of infection or other ear condition.
Oropharynx
The part of the throat that is at the back of the mouth.
Tinnitus
Ringing or other noise in one or both ears that may be a symptom of various underlying causes.
Nasal Polyp
Benign growths on the mucosal lining of the nasal passages or sinuses that can cause obstruction or breathing difficulties.
Otitis Media
An infection or inflammation of the middle ear.
Tympanostomy
The surgical insertion of a tube into the eardrum to allow air to enter the middle ear.
Mastoidectomy
A surgical procedure to remove infected portions of the mastoid bone.
Meniere's Disease
A disorder of the inner ear causing severe dizziness (vertigo), ringing in the ears (tinnitus), hearing loss, and a feeling of fullness or congestion in the ear.
Tonsillitis
Inflammation or infection of the tonsils, often causing sore throat and fever.
Sialadenitis
Inflammation or infection of a salivary gland, often caused by a stone or bacterial infection.
Epistaxis
The medical term for a nosebleed.
Stapedectomy
Surgery to remove the stapes bone in the middle ear, often due to otosclerosis.
Choanal Atresia
A congenital disorder where the back of the nasal passage is blocked, typically by abnormal bony or soft tissue.
Otosclerosis
A condition characterized by abnormal bone growth in the middle ear, causing hearing loss.

Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP)
Surgical removal or repositioning of tissue in the throat to widen the airway. This can treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
